In this series of self-portraits, I assume the identity of different characters. The interaction between my personal biography and the cultures I research allow me to construct new worlds. Combining photography, acting, performance, styling, attire, lighting and set decoration, I insert myself into each scene in an attempt to shed light on my roots and personal background, while exploring questions about cultural constructs, identity and gender.
